If you’re looking for an adjustable height chair, look no further than the Robust Steel (Max) and Elevated Steel Max models. Both are offered with two different height adjustment options - the Acme Rod and the Quick Height.
So what are the differences, you ask?
Our standard acme rod system is what started it all. It is a twist mechanism that allows you to go up or down depending on the direction you spin it. It allows you to swivel and features a full range of height adjustment of 15”-24”, offering an extremely versatile experience in your workspace.
The quick height adjustment is built for speed. It features a mechanical design that allows users the ability to adjust the height of their chair more quickly. Simply lift the seat to raise and lift the levers to lower. The quick height system features a safety spring, which changes the height adjustment range to 19”-24” to accommodate.
All in all, you can’t go wrong with either chair. It really comes down to personal preference and the job at hand. Both use a mechanical design that will stand the test of time.
